Egg and Choy Sum Rice Porridge




 Egg and Choy Sum (Chai Sim / Cai Sim) Rice Porridge


This is another comfort food from Mum's recipe
YUMMILICIOUS!!



Ingredients:
2 cup of rice, washed, drained
1 bunch of choy sum, washed, cut
1.5 litre of water
5 large eggs
2 blocks of chicken powder

Garnish:
Preserved Cabbage
Ground White Pepper


Method:
Cook washed rice with water until cooked, soften like porridge.
Add choy sum, mix well.
Add eggs and chicken powder, mix well.
Cook for 2 minutes further.
Ready to serve with preserved cabbage and ground white pepper.

Choy Sum / Chai Sim / Cai Sim / Sayur Sawi

5 large eggs and 2 blocks of chicken powder

Wash 2 cups of rice, put in a pot,
add about 1.5 litre of water
and bring to boil until cooked, soften like porridge

Add choy sum, mix well

Add 5 large eggs and chicken powder
mix well and cook for about 2 minutes



All cooked, ready to serve


This is Preserved Cabbage
I like it as garnish for rice porridge or noodle
This one is made in Thailand.
