Usually Chinese Rice Dumpling cooked in leaves, since I could not find it here instead, I use rice cooker. This is my Mother's recipe. It is fast, easy and delicious!
I couldn't find the leaves, so we just had it as a dish.
Rice Dumpling filling cooked in Rice Cooker
Nasi Bacang Rice Cooker
Ingredients:
Rice, washed
Minced Turkey
Chicken broth
3 cloves of garlic, minced
Black Mushroom (hioko)
Cashew nuts, raw
Soya Sauce
Salt, if needed
Pepper
Oil
Directions:
Heat oil, sautee garlic until fragrant.
Add minced turkey, sautee until almost cooked.
Add mushroom, cashew, mix well.
Add soya sauce.
In the rice cooker:
Wash rice. Once cleaned, pour in chicken broth.
Add minced turkey sautee above.
Mix well, switch the rice cooker on and Cook.
