Daddy, How was I born?

A little boy goes to his father and asks “Daddy, how was I born?”

The father answers, Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway!

Your Mum and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo.

Then I set up a date via email with your Mum and we met at a cyber-cafe.

We sneaked into a secluded room,

where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive.

As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall,

and since it was too late to hit the delete button,

nine months later a little ‘Pop-Up’ appeared that said:

'You have Male!'

Vegetable Wheat Wraps

Ingredients:

2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
Bean shoot
Cabbage, chopped finely
Carrot, julienne cut
1 maggie chicken block
1 handful of corn kernels
1 spring onion, chopped finely
Salt and pepper
Oil for frying

Direction for filling:
Heat oil in medium heat, sautee garlic until fragrant.
Add carrot and cabbage, sautee until almost translucent.
Add bean shoot, corn kernels, maggie block, salt and pepper.
Mix well then add spring onion. Sautee until cooked.

Direction for folding:

Scoop 1 tablespoon of the filling and fold it with wheat wraps.
The wheat wrap is not "strong" enough to fold the filling like spring roll.
Unless if you want to use 2 sheets of it for spring roll.
I prefer to fold in rectangular or square shape using only 1 sheet of wheat wrap. For me, using 2 sheets were too much and too dry.

Serving suggestion:
- Maggie Sweet Chilli
- Sambal ABC / ABC chilli sauce
- Tomato sauce

Wheat Wrap Fried Wonton

(Pangsit Goreng dengan kulit Wheat Wrap)

This is the first time I make fried wonton soup with wheat wrap as its skin. So I did not use much ingredients. But it turn out to be alright, delicious too (^_^)

Ingredients:
4 tbsp of Minced turkey
3 small garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt & pepper
1 spring onion, chopped finely
1 maggie chicken block
Wheat wraps
Oil for frying
Direction:
Combine minced turkey, garlic, sesame oil, maggie block, salt, pepper, spring onion.
Mix well.
Prepare wheat wraps, divide wheat wraps to 4 equal pieces.
Scoop some amount of minced on each wheat wrap.
Tip a bit of water on the edge.
You can fold it like triangle shape after tip a bit of water on the edge, or
You put the minced in the middle, tip a bit of water on the edge and fold 2 opposite sides into the middle. It will look a bit similar like spring roll. You can see the pictures of those 2 shapes below.
After folding them until minced finish, heat oil in medium heat.
You have to use medium heat, at first I used high heat and all become over-fried.
Fry them of each side one by one until golden brown.

Serving suggestion: with maggie sweet chilli.
