Hanoi Prawn Cakes


Hanoi Prawn Cakes
Ingredients:
Batter:
Corn flour
Rice flour
Salt, as desired
Ground black pepper, as desired
1/2 tsp baking powder
Cold water
Mix all batter ingredients in cold water. The batter should be a bit thick, not light.
Filling:
Sweet potato, grated
Carrot, grated
Corn kernels
Bean shoots
Spring onions, sliced thinly
Method:
Mix batter and filling
In a hot pan, add oil.
Add a good tablespoon on mixture in a pan.
Fried until golden brown.
Served with Nuoc Sam dipping sauce.
