Corned Beef Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng Kornet)

Fried Rice is one of dishes that I cook regularly.
Good for my eldest, especially after courses (after school hours)
where he would eat "the whole fridge" :D

So here is it the Easy Peasy Corned Beef Fried Rice.

For this recipe I used less fat and less salt canned corned beef.
I also used freshly cooked rice, instead of the overnight one.

You will need:
1 can of corned beef
2 cloves of garlic
2 large cloves of French onions
1 carrot, grated
2 cups of cooked rice
2 spring onions, chopped
Oil, I didn't use because I used my Flavorstone pan :D
Oyster sauce
A touch of Soy sauce
Ground white pepper to taste

Heat the pan, add corned beef,
break them while sautee-ing,
the color will be darken.

Add chopped garlic, grated carrot and onion.
I separate onion, so they will be soften first
before I mix everything together.
I put grated carrot and garlic on top of corned beef,
to flavor it, garlic tend to cook faster than onion,
mixing them prevent them to become burnt.

Once soften and cooked,
add rice, and seasonings,
taste.

Ready to serve with Indonesian Prawn Crackers,
and Indonesian pickles.

For pickles you will need:
80 ml of white vinegar
4 heaps Tbsp of raw sugar
1 tsp flat of salt
2 cucumber, remove seeds
1 small carrot
onion and bird-eye chili/chili paddy, optional

I don't mind bird-eye chili but my son can't eat chili,
but I don't like pickled onion.

Mix all except cucumber and carrot,
mix until sugar dissolved,
add cucumber and carrot, mix well,
cover with cling wrap,
into the fridge.
Best overnight but 6 hours is fine (with me).

Thanks for looking :)
